Biblical, gritty grace to help you grasp God’s love when life isn’t comfortable.

“For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant,

but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”

—Hebrews 12:11 (ESV)

Hi there! I’m Abigail. From the last square on the roll to the last scrap on my plate, I hate waste. That goes for pain and sorrow too. To think that an experience could be in vain takes the wind out of sails. But I’ve been learning a lot about how to make the uncomfortable things serve me. God is teaching me to convert my trials into soul strength. And I want to show you how. I write as an in-training herself spiritual strength trainer.

The Lord wants his children strong. So, he gives strength to press on and confess and forgive, and strength to speak truth and give grace.

Because God is the strength of his people. At this moment his eyes are roaming all over the earth looking for hearts to make strong.

Knowing God gives us strength sit loose to our dreams, take risks for love’s sake and in everything to give thanks.

I’m with you, for our progress and joy in the faith,

Abigail

Meek Not Weak is the book that wrote me. It is still writing me.

While this book is deeply personal, it is not a memoir, nor is it self-help. You could say Meek Not Weak is a biography of meekness. It’s my feeble attempt to paint a portrait of biblical meekness that allow readers to score off their trials. “Not somehow, but triumphantly” is the cry of the meek. You can purchase the book here.
